2009 was a big year for me in terms of adding music to my collection. I went looking at some stats in my iTunes earlier today. Turns out I added 1,445 songs to my library this year. Only 101 of those songs made it the whole year without being listened to, which I need to remedy soon.
I rated 195 5 star songs in 2009 (the highest iTunes allows). Of those 195 songs, 77 were actually released in 2009. I may have been a bit lenient handing out my 5-Star ratings, but here’s the Top 10 songs I picked of last year in order of most listened to.
No band is repeated. If this playlist were constructed from play count, As Cities Burn would take up 9 slots and MuteMath would have a song. A lot of that has to do with the fact that iTunes can’t track plays in my car, where I do a large part of my jamming to music. So that means I was jamming As Cities Burn a lot at work.
Without further adieu, here’s my 2009 Year-End Top 10 Booyah Tracks (of all time). Enjoy by downloading, unzipping and sharing the link with your friends.
